I fell in love with clay when I took pottery classes in high school, even going after school to wedge clay for a local potter. I knew then that ceramics would always be part of my life. At Berea College I was introduced to the full spectrum of pottery studio work. My good wife Pat and I have continued to make pots together for the last 30 years, working with oxidation, reduction, and soda fired ware.
Currently I work at Pratt and Larson Ceramics troubleshooting glazes, designing tile and developing new tools. On my own time I explore the vast, complex form and feel of slowly made
